A Fresh Start

The Marriage Course that we were holding has just finished and proved to be a great resourse for all those who attended.  Due to it having only just finished, plans for another one are yet to be considered but please do book mark and keep returning to this page for future information.

The Marriage Course

That's why we are offering this course.  It covers topics such as

Recognising each other's needs

Communicating effectively

Resolving Conflict

Enjoying Sex

Dealing with past hurts

Helping the other to feel loved

Relating to parents and the in-laws

These are all important issues, vital to the well-being of our relationships, but often neglected in the rush of family life.

Who should come?

Any couple who values their relationship!  No matter where you're at - young, middle aged or old, married for years or just starting out - The Marriage Course will make good relationships great, a strong relationship unshakeable.

How does it work?

For seven evenings, you watch a DVD presentation on a particular aspect of relationships, followed by personal time as a couple to discuss the topic of the evening, while enjoying dessert with tea/coffee.

No Cringe Factor

Each session is relevant and practical, designed to help you both apply it to your everyday life.  Because you have your own space for your discussions, your privacy as a couple is respected.  There are no group discussions and your are never required to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else; so there really is no cringe factor.

Who's running it?

This course was originally developed by Nicky and Sila Lee, a couple who work with Holy Trinity Brompton, a church in London.  But it is suitable for those of all faiths or none and has been held around the world in all kinds of settings.

Your hosts for this course will be Derek and Trich Dodd of Family Life Resources, in partnership with Andrew and Lorna Burt of Enniscorthy and Mick and Bernie Breen of Wexford
