About The Course?

A casual, informal and friendly course Christianity Explored, was developed over a period of about 10 years and is designed for people who are interested in checking out what Christianity is all about or for those who just want to brush up on the basics.

Designed to look look at Jesus, who he was, what his aims were and what it means to follow him, each evening will be casual in style and you won't be asked to pray, sing, or read out loud and you are welcome to ask any question you like or to simply sit back and listen if you prefer.

Designed to cater for people of all age ranges, it has been widely attended internationally, we are very pleased to be able to offer this course at which we actively welcome the questions that most of us ask ourselves concerning, life, faith, self-worth, purpose and belonging.

So what actually goes on at it?

Offering an excellent opportunity to listen, learn, question, discuss and discover, the course provides an open and informal environment where we can all explore many of the questions that we all face in our lives and see what answers the Christian Faith has to offer without fear of being pressured into signing up for any expensive resources, or being bullied into making any decisions.

Each evening will normally start with a chance to discuss and ask questions about what we looked at the previous week and then there is a short DVD followed by another chance to discuss and ask questions.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening and of course you are always welcome to stay afterwards for tea or coffee and to chat and get to know each other better.

How long does it last?

Each evening should be fairly breif last no more than a couple of hours.

The course itself lasts for 10 weeks and depending on the level of interest there will also be a full day or weekend event at which everyone gets a chance to explore other areas such as the bible, the Holy Spirit, prayer and the church.

How Much Will It Cost me?

We are both delighted and honoured to be able to offer the Christianity Explored Course to any and all who would like to attend and because of this our Christianity Explained Courses are provided absolutely free of charge.

When is the Next Christianity Explained Course?

The next Christianity Explored Course is for women only and will be incorporated into our Thursday Morning Bible Study for women.  If you would like top participate in a Christianity Explored Course please speak to Andrew or Lorna.
